PERSONSPECTIVES

by Andreas Foster

The world exhales,

a soft unspooling of the old.

Light stretches its limbs,

testing the edges of morning.

The air tastes new,

like something just invented.

Trees rehearse their first green notes,

and the sky loosens its winter jaw.

Everything feels possible again

even the quiet things,

even the tired things,

even you.
