Submission Guidelines
Length: 500–1,200 words
Artwork: Optional. If none is provided, we will supply one based on relevance.
- Submissions should be simple, clear, and accessible.
- References are required.
- We do not encourage the use of AI for writing, but it may be used for research support.
- All work must be original.
- Verify originality, ethics compliance, formatting, and authorship criteria before submitting your manuscript.
- Author names may be listed as anonymous or included at the author’s discretion.
- If you are writing an essay involving patients, it must comply with HIPAA guidelines. All personal identifiers must be removed or replaced with fictionalized details to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
- Creative works, essays and poetry across all genres are welcome. However, any submission that promotes hate, discrimination, or content targeting individuals or groups based on race, gender, or similar characteristics will be rejected.
Desk review
The Editorial Team conducts an initial review of each submission to assess its relevance, structure, and appropriateness, with decisions typically made within two weeks.
